Distt Admin Bandipora hosts Awareness program under DAJGU Abhiyan

BANDIPORA: The District Administration Bandipora today organized an awareness program on Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) at Quilmuqam village, Aloosa Block.

The initiative, aimed at empowering tribal communities and fostering their socio-economic development, witnessed active participation from locals, officials, and representatives from various organizations.

Prominent attendees included District Information Officer Bandipora, Block Development Officer (BDO) Bandipora, and Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Aloosa, alongside officials from various line departments who contributed to the event’s success.

Speaking on the occasion, BDO Bandipora underscored the importance of the DAJGUA initiative in enhancing the quality of life for tribal communities. He emphasized that the program is a significant step toward socio-economic transformation and empowerment of marginalized groups.

The event featured insightful discussions on the objectives and strategies of the program, highlighting its focus on inclusive development. ZEO Aloosa and other officials emphasized the critical role of inter-departmental coordination in achieving the program’s goals.

In addition to the speeches, cultural performances by tribal artists captivated the audience, showcasing the rich heritage and traditions of the tribal communities.

The event concluded with an appeal for collective efforts to ensure the effective implementation of the initiative, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to the welfare of tribal populations.
