Director Agriculture Jammu inspects Agriculture Engineering Workshop

JAMMU: Director Agriculture Jammu Arvinder Singh Reen on Saturday visited the Agriculture Government Engineering Workshop Jammu to review the ongoing projects, infrastructure and overall functioning of the workshop.

The Director Agriculture went round the facility and interacted with the officers and technical staff to understand the status of different agricultural development projects being carried out at the workshop. He assessed the infrastructure, machinery, and resources available, emphasizing the need for maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in the production and repair of agricultural equipment.

Agri Research Engineer Vinay Kumar briefed the Director on several key initiatives, including the development of infrastructure, new machinery, repair services for agricultural equipment, and the improvement of existing resources to better serve the needs of the farming community.

Director A.S Reen stressed the significance of timely and effective implementation of all projects to ensure the betterment of agricultural practices and the economic upliftment of farmers. He also directed the concerned officials to ensure regular maintenance of the workshop’s infrastructure and to take proactive measures for enhancing its operational capacity.

Concluding the visit, the Director Agriculture Jammu expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and encouraged all the staff members to continue their hard work and dedication towards the advancement of agriculture in the region.
