Anantnag:: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan died of a suspected cardiac arrest while on patrolling duty in Anantnag district, officials said.
A police officer told JKNS that, a CRPF jawan died of a suspected cardiac arrest in Anantnag while he was later identified as Azad Ahmad Najar was conducting camp patrolling from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM when he suddenly collapsed at around 12:35 AM.
He said, he was immediately rushed to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Mattan, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, according to an initial medical reports a cardiac arrest is suspected as the cause of death, however, the exact cause will be confirmed after a post-mortem examination, and more details are awaited.—(JKNS)
