Provincial Level Youth Festival begins in Srinagar

Srinagar: The Inter-District Provincial Level Youth Festival, Yuva Utsav 2024, was held at S.P. Higher Secondary School, here. Bringing together young student participants from across the Kashmir division to take part in various events for shortlisting the best of the talent for the UT level competitions being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports in the near future.

The event was organized by the District Youth Services and Sports office Srinagar.
On the first day of the two day preparatory festival, competitions were organised between the participants of different Kashmir based districts in Art and Painting, Declamation Speeches, Poetry, Story Writing and Science Models.
The event was inaugurated by Joint Director YSS, Kashmir, Mohammad Rashid Kohli, and was accompanied by District Youth Services and Sports Officer Srinagar, Ghulam Hassan Lone, ZPEOs of various zones of the Srinagar district and Media and Publicity Coordinator of the Department Azhar Hajini .
The competitions provided participants with a platform to display their creativity, intellectual capabilities, and innovative ideas.
The Yuva Utsav aims to inspire and empower youth while fostering an environment of cultural and intellectual growth. The initiative was well-received, with participants and attendees expressing their enthusiasm for such opportunities to engage, learn, and grow.
This festival is an important step toward nurturing the talents of the younger generation and encouraging them to contribute positively to the society.
