Srinagar: Traffic movement on Mughal Road and Sinthan Road was halted on Sunday following fresh snowfall in the region.
Officials in the know informed the news agency JKNS that they have advised people to refrain from traveling on these routes until they are cleared and deemed safe for use.
They said the snowfall has made the roads slippery and hazardous, prompting the closure to ensure public safety. “Travelers are urged to stay updated on road conditions and follow advisories from the traffic department,” they said.—(JKNS)
