TREHGAM: Flagging Off Ceremony was organised in Trehgam COB, 41 RR (MARATHA LI) on 09 Dec 24 for kickstarting the Edn Tour for Youth of Kupwara to South India. 15 young and bright students from Kupwara district are embarking on this journey to gain knowledge and exposure as well as have a fascinating cultural exchange in the coming week.
The tour is planned for 7 days wherein the students will be visiting reputed institutes like IISc, NIAS, HAL Aerospace facilities, Amazon Development Center and Heritage Centre besides visiting the local architectural marvels of Bengaluru like Bengaluru Palace, Tipu Sultan Palace, Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium and Lalbagh. The students are accompanied by a teacher coordinator and three Army pers of 41 RR headed by an Offr.
With best wishes from the parents for whom this is a proud moment, the tour was flagged off at 0930 hrs from Trehgam,Kupwara.
