Handwara: A joint operation by the Army and Rashtriya Rifles (RR) has led to the discovery of a terrorist hideout in the Boban forest area of Handwara district, officials said.
An official told the news agency JKNS that security forces on Friday busted a hideout in the Handwara area.
He said during the operation, the forces recovered various items from the hideout, including two magazines, 20 rounds of ammunition, one plate, one blanket, and two grenades.
“The operation was conducted based on specific intelligence inputs. Further details are awaited as investigations continue,” he said.—(JKNS)
