Srinagar: Tourists exploring Kashmir are embracing the valley’s unmatched natural beauty and its famed hospitality, even as the first snowfall of the season remains awaited.
The cold temperature and beauty of Kashmir valley in the winter atmosphere and the hospitality nature of the people are what make every visit memorable.
According to the details collected by the news agency JKNS, the iconic Dal Lake remains a great attraction, with the beautiful waters, houseboats, and snow-capped mountains remaining an enchanting winter wonderland. Many have started spending time admiring the lake’s serene beauty and sipping hot beverages to ward off the cold.
A tourist at Dal Lake, enjoying in Srinagar Dal Lake said he came here to see the magic of snowfall. “Even without it, the beauty here is unmatched, and I can only imagine how it will look once the snow blankets the valley,” he said.
Karan Kumar from Delhi described the lake and the traditional houseboats as the highlights of his trip. “The people are so warm and hospitable, and the food is fantastic. The entire experience feels comforting, even with the cold weather,” he said.
Notably, Raja Yaqoob the Director of Tourism, also in earlier days said the region is witnessing a steady stream of visitors, including an increasing number of international travelers. “We are currently seeing 200 to 500 international tourists arriving daily, even though snowfall has yet to make its way to us this year,” he said.
