Seema Prahari Cricket and Volleyball Tournament Concludes at Teetwal with Enthusiasm

Teetwal Karnah : The Seema Prahari Cricket and Volleyball Tournament, organized under the aegis of 89 Bn BSF, culminated today at the picturesque Teetwal cricket ground. The event, which commenced on December 4, was inaugurated by Brigadier Manish Datt Upadhyay (Retd.), DIG, Sector BSF Kupwara, and witnessed a grand display of local talent and sportsmanship.

In the Volleyball category, Team Dhani Capitals emerged as winners, while Team Ibkote Sultan secured the runners-up position. In Cricket, Team Rising Star Teetwal claimed the championship, with Team Dhani Capitals finishing as runners-up.

The closing ceremony was marked by the presentation of trophies, medals, and sports kits to the winning teams and finalists. The Chinar Youth Committee Teetwal, instrumental in supporting the event, was also recognized with mementos presented to its key members, including Sh. Ravinder Pandita, Chairman of the Save Sharda Committee, and Sh. Ejaz.

Chief Guest Sh. Syed Saif Ahmad, Second-in-Command BSF, extended a special vote of thanks, applauding the efforts of all participants and organizers.

The primary aim of the Seema Prahari Tournament was to nurture local talent, foster team spirit, and promote a sense of healthy competition among the youth. The local community praised the BSF’s initiative, which concluded with enthusiasm, leaving behind a legacy of camaraderie and sportive fervor.
