New Delhi/Srinagar: Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Thursday afternoon arrived at the Ministry of Home Affairs ahead of a crucial high-level security meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The meeting will focus on key security concerns, especially those related to Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources familiar with the situation told the news agency JKNS that the high-level meeting, including the Army Chief, J&K officials, and others, had arrived for the meeting in Delhi.
They also mentioned that Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo and Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat were present at the Ministry to attend the meeting.
“The discussions are expected to cover various aspects of security in the region, reflecting the ongoing concerns in Jammu and Kashmir,” they said.
It is worth mentioning, the meeting will be chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, first after formation of popular govt.—(JKNS)
