Karnah Tangdar: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, under the Office of the District Development Commissioner Kupwara, organized a Panchayat-Level Awareness Campaign titled Udhyam Jagriti at GDC Tangdar today. The program, part of Mission YUVA (Phase I), aims to promote entrepreneurship and create job opportunities by engaging local communities, especially youth and women. The initiative focuses on raising awareness about financial aid, technical support, and benefits available for new and nano enterprises.
Facilitated by Block Development Officer Tangdar , the event included interactive sessions, success stories of entrepreneurs, and detailed presentations on the objectives of Mission YUVA. The campaign saw active participation from various departments, including the Zonal Education Office Tangdar, Horticulture Department, Agriculture Department, and Education Department. Notably, many graduate students from GDC Tangdar attended the program, showcasing keen interest in exploring entrepreneurial opportunities. The involvement of the BDO Office Tangdar, Village Level Workers (VLWs), Accountants, teachers, and ex-Panchayat members further enriched the event.
The organizers extended their gratitude to the Principal and staff of GDC Tangdar for their invaluable assistance in hosting the event. Their collaboration ensured the success of this impactful awareness campaign.
