Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah extended greetings to Ayan Sajad, who has been conferred the PradhanMantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar for his sensational Sufi singing.
President Droupadi Murmu conferred the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar on 17 children for their exceptional achievements at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre in New Delhi on Thursday.
Kashmiri singing sensation 12-year-old Ayaan Sajad was among the one who also got ‘Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar’ award.
The Chief Minister Omar and NC President Farooq , extended their heartfelt congratulations to Ayan Sajad, the young prodigy from Anantnag, on being awarded the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2024.
“Recognizing his remarkable contributions to the field of art and culture, Farooq and Omar in a joint message lauded Ayan’s achievement as a source of immense pride for Jammu and Kashmir”.
They expressed their hope that his dedication and talent will continue to inspire young minds across the region and beyond.
The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to supporting and encouraging the youth of J&K in their pursuit of excellence in various fields.
