Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday reaffirmed his government’s commitment to the aspirations of the people, following their active participation in the recent elections.
During a media interaction the Chief Minister expressed optimism about the restoration of statehood and vowed to address the concerns of the residents.
Acknowledging the public’s active participation in the recent elections, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, during his interaction with the media at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar, as per the news agency—JKNS, said that the residents have placed their faith in the electoral process, and now they hope for the restoration of statehood. “We are optimistic about achieving this goal,” he said.
Highlighting the administration’s priorities, he added, “Our focus is on governance that aligns with the aspirations of the people. We aim to address their concerns and ensure transparency within government departments and ministries.”
Notably, the Chief Minister assured that efforts are underway to meet the public’s expectations and foster trust in the government’s initiatives. — (JKNS)
