Property in Kokernag Attached Under UAPA Provisions

Kokernag,: Authorities today attached a property in Halpora village of Kokernag, Anantnag, under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), 1967.

An offical told news agency JKNS that the attached property, measuring 19 marlas, belongs to Mohd Akbar Dar, son of Habibullah Dar, a resident of Halpora Guri Nad in Kokernag. The attachment was carried out under Section 25 of the UAPA.

He said the public has been notified about this attachment, and further legal proceedings are expected in the matter. Meanwhile, officials have urged residents to comply with the law and avoid any unlawful activities in the area.—(JKNS)
