Massive Fire destroys 5 Residential structures, Many Shops in Nowhatta

Srinagar: A massive fire broke out in Bahaudin Sahab, Nowhatta, causing extensive damage to 5 residential houses and 5 shops.

Officials told news agency JKNS that the fire spread rapidly, an immediate response from Fire and Emergency Services is on-going. Teams are on the spot, working to contain the flames and prevent further damage.

Flames have engulfed 5- 6 reaidential structures, and many shops, we are trying our best to contain the flames, he said.

The exact cause of the fire is not yet known. No casualties have been reported so far, he said.
