Reasi: A man was critically injured in a bear attack while grazing his livestock in the Kalaban Banna area of Chassana tehsil in Reasi district on Friday.
Officials told the news agency JKNS that a man was grazing his sheep and goats in the hilly area when a wild bear attacked him.
They said the man sustained serious injuries and is being taken to Chassana for medical treatment.
He was identified as Talib Hussain (38), son of Mohammad Shafi, a resident of Sungri village in Chassana.
Meanwhile, investigations have been initiated.—(JKNS)
