Washington: Outgoing US President Joe Biden said Vice President Kamala Harris is competent to run for president again in four years, but the decision is up to her to make.
“I think she’s competent to run again in four years. That will be a decision for her to make,” Biden told reporters in the White House.
Harris ran for the 2024 US presidential election, becoming the Democratic Party’s nominee after Biden decided to quit the race. The election was won by Republican Donald Trump, who is scheduled to be inaugurated on January 20.
