Karnah: The Power Development Department (PDD) organized an awareness program in the border subdivision of Karnah to promote the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme. This government initiative aims to provide free electricity to households by encouraging the installation of solar panels on rooftops with a significant subsidy.
During the event, officials from the Electricity Department highlighted the importance of renewable energy and urged the residents of Karnah to adopt solar technology. They informed attendees that households availing of the scheme would receive a 65% subsidy, making renewable energy more accessible to the community.
Participants were provided with detailed information about the scheme and guided on how to take advantage of its benefits.
