Poonch: A soldier was injured after stepping on a landmine in the Krishna Ghati area of Poonch district on Tuesday.
Reliable sources told the news agency JKNS that the incident occurred while the soldier was part of a patrolling party and accidentally stepped on the landmine.
They said the soldier, whose identity has not been disclosed, was immediately evacuated to a nearby medical facility for treatment. —(JKNS)
