Former Chief Accounts Officer Ghulam Nabi Mir Passes Away

Karnah // Badarkot – Former Chief Accounts Officer and bureaucrat Ghulam Nabi Mir from Badarkot, Karnah, has passed away after a prolonged illness. His mortal remains are being transported from Srinagar to his ancestral home in Bardakote, Karnah, where his last rites will be performed.

Ghulam Nabi Mir held several key positions in the Jammu and Kashmir administration, and his demise marks a significant loss for the region. He was widely respected not only for his administrative abilities but also for his dedication to public welfare. His contributions played a crucial role in the region’s development, and his absence leaves a void that will be difficult to fill.

Known for his kindness, sociability, and compassion, Mir devoted his life to serving the people. His guidance and affectionate nature earned him a special place in the hearts of many. His passing is an irreparable loss, not just for his family but for the entire community.

Expressing their deep sorrow and condolences, prominent figures including local Qazi Abdul Hameed Qureshi, MLA Karnah Javed Marshal, former MLA Karnah Kafeel-ur-Rehman, Advocate Raja Manzoor, Bar President Qazi Mehboob Elahi, Civil Society President Peerzada SD Qureshi, Business Mandal President Haji Taslim Mir, journalist Peezada Sayeed, and other community members have extended their sympathies to the bereaved family, praying for their strength during this difficult time.
