Tangdhar, February 14 – On the sixth anniversary of the Pulwama attack, students and staff of Army Goodwill Higher Secondary School, Hajinar Tangdhar, organized a solemn solidarity march to pay homage to the 40 CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the tragic incident. The march saw heartfelt participation, with students carrying the national flag and banners honoring the fallen heroes, reaffirming their unwavering respect for the armed forces.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute to the martyrs, emphasizing that the nation will never forget their sacrifice. PM Modi, in a social media message, honored the brave soldiers, while Amit Shah reaffirmed the government’s commitment to national security. Across the country, candlelight vigils and memorial events were held to remember the sacrifice of the Pulwama martyrs.

The Pulwama terror attack on February 14, 2019, was one of the darkest days in India’s history when a suicide bomber targeted a CRPF convoy, killing 40 personnel. The attack led to a strong response, including the Balakot airstrikes, underscoring India’s resolve against terrorism.

The solidarity march in Tangdhar was a testament to the nation’s collective remembrance. Students, teachers, and locals vowed to uphold the values of patriotism and continue supporting the security forces in their mission to safeguard the country. The event reflected the enduring gratitude and respect for those who laid down their lives in service to the nation.
