Talented Young Creative Seher Anand Redefining Design with a Fresh Perspective

New York– In the ever-evolving world of art, design, and culture, Seher Anand, an emerging designer, is leaving a lasting impact by seamlessly merging innovation with a deep appreciation for aesthetics. Driven by a passion for pushing creative limits, Seher has carved out a unique voice in the design industry, blending concept-driven storytelling with bold visual expression.

An Indian and New York-based multidisciplinary designer, Seher has collaborated with high-profile clients such as IT Cosmetics and L’Oréal, offering a fresh perspective on some of the most recognizable brands in the industry. Her work spans editorial design, brand identities, digital experiences, and experimental projects, yet all share a common thread: a commitment to design that captivates, challenges, and informs.

A Journey Rooted in Creativity & Purpose
Seher’s artistic journey began with hands-on practices in painting, drawing, and sculpture, eventually evolving into a career that blends function with storytelling. A graduate with honors from Parsons School of Design in New York, she continually seeks deeper meaning in her work, using design as a platform for exploration and impact.

Guided by key questions like, “Does this illuminate overlooked narratives? Does it transform the mundane? Does it challenge perspectives?”, Seher’s project Migrant Landscape exemplifies this approach. The project recontextualizes migration through border architecture and everyday objects, inviting audiences to view these spaces from a fresh perspective. For Seher, every design choice is intentional—not just to be seen, but to be experienced and questioned.

Her professional path includes freelance collaborations with Brooklyn-based Instrumental Agency and her current role at 360 creative agency VMGROUPE. Seher’s work spans industries, from packaging design for IT Cosmetics and digital branding for Marli New York, to experiential pop-up designs for Lattafa Fragrances and campaign development for L’Oréal and L’Oréal PPD. She has also contributed to event announcements for Redken and jewelry design for H&M through her collaboration with Metal Ma Mode in India. Alongside these milestones, Seher nurtures her personal creative projects, collaborating with emerging businesses and exploring artist book concepts while refining her typeface designs.

A Visionary Approach to Design
Seher’s multidisciplinary background results in work that is not only visually compelling but conceptually rich. Grounded in typography, form, and narrative-driven design, she believes in the power of visuals to shape perceptions and inspire social change.

Living in New York City has deeply influenced her creative outlook, exposing her to a diverse mix of cultures and ideas. “Design is all around us—it influences how we perceive the world. Having the ability to contribute to that conversation is incredibly inspiring,” Seher says. “No matter the scope or scale, I aim for my work to be thoughtful—answering some questions while raising many more.”
