DPS Budgam’s Ayaan Shah Wins 1st Place in Intermediate Skiing at IISM Gulmarg 2025, Sets Sights on Olympic Dream

Budgam: Ayaan Shah, a talented young skier from Delhi Public School (DPS) Budgam, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing 1st position in the Intermediate Skiing category at the prestigious Indian Institute of Skiing and Mountaineering (IISM) Gulmarg 2025 competition.

The event, held at the world-renowned ski destination Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir, saw participation from top young skiers across the country. Ayaan’s stellar performance, marked by exceptional technique and speed, set him apart from his competitors, earning him the top spot in his category.

Speaking on his victory, Ayaan expressed gratitude towards his coaches, school, and family for their unwavering support. “Winning this title at IISM Gulmarg is a dream come true. The competition was tough, but my training and passion for skiing helped me push through,” he said.

DPS Budgam has also lauded Ayaan’s achievement, with the school principal stating, “We are incredibly proud of Ayaan’s accomplishment.
