Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government has extended the winter vacation for all government and private schools up to the higher secondary level in Kashmir Division and winter zones of Jammu Division until March 6, 2025.
As per an official order issued by Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Shantmanu, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, The winter vacations declared vide Government Order No.521-JK(Edu) of 2024 dated 06.12.2024 for all Government/Private Schools upto higher secondary level of Kashmir Division and winter zone(s) of Jammu Division are hereby extended upto March 6th, 2025. The schools shall now reopen on March 7th, 2025 instead of March 1, 2025. (JKNS)
