Jammu,: The Budget Session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly commenced on Monday, with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressing the House.
However, the session saw disruption as MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad staged a protest inside the central hall.
Khursheed as per news agency JKNS, protested over the deaths that occurred in Baramulla and Kathua last month. Carrying placards, he demanded justice for the families of the two men killed in the incidents.
As the MLA continued to raise slogans and attempted to disrupt the proceedings, Assembly Marshals intervened and marshaled him out of the House. (JKNS)
