Srinagar: A 38 year old man lost his life after coming under the walnut branch tree in Konan area of North Kashmir Bandipora district on Thursday.

An official told news agency JKNS that Noor Mohammad Son of Gh Qadir Dar (38) from Lankreshipora Bandipora received critical injuries after a walnut tree branch fell on him in Konan Bandipora.

He was immediately rushed to nearby hospital DH Bandipora, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.—(JKNS)
