SRINAGAR: As a sequel to government’s commitment towards ensuring public outreach and responsive governance, Advisor to Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, today held an extensive public outreach programme at Chief Minister’s Public Service and Outreach Office (Raabita) in Srinagar.
Several delegations representing various sectors, organizations and regions met the Advisor and presented their issues, concerns and demands seeking prompt redress of the same.
During the interaction, delegations from JK Water Sports Association, Kashmir Wakaf Tenants Federation, Senior Lecturers, Kashmir Borrowers Association and the Power Development Department put forth grievances related to their respective fields.
Additionally, deputations from Budgam, Ganderbal, Kulgam and Kupwara called on the Advisor, raising pressing developmental and administrative concerns affecting their regions.
The Advisor, while responding to issues raised by the delegations, assured them that their concerns would be conveyed to the relevant departments for necessary action. He emphasized that the Chief Minister is committed towards ensuring a people-centric administration where public grievances are addressed in a transparent and time-bound manner. He stated that the government remains dedicated towards enhancing governance efficiency, resolving public issues at the grassroots level and ensuring equitable development across all districts of the region.
The Advisor reaffirmed that concrete measures would be taken up to address public concerns effectively. He reiterated that such interactions would continue to be held regularly to ensure citizen-friendly governance and transparent decision-making.
The delegations representing various sectors appreciated the Raabita initiative, highlighting how it has provided them with a direct and accessible platform to engage with the administration.
