Srinagar: An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was found and defused in Reshipora in Qaimoh hamlet of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday afternoon.
A top police officer told news agency JKNS that the IED was detected by security forces in the afternoon in Reshipora Kulgam.
He added that soon after detecting the IED a bomb disposal squad (BDS) was called who safely neutralized the explosive.
He said that timely finding and defusion of the IED has averted a major trajedy.—(JKNS)
