Bandipora: The residents of Hajam Mohalla in Hakabara village, Bandipora district, have expressed deep dissatisfaction with the authorities over the lack of basic facilities, particularly the absence of proper electricity infrastructure.
While speaking to media locals, stated that the area lacks electricity poles and proper wiring, posing a serious threat to residents. The wooden poles currently in place are in a dilapidated condition, further increasing the risk of accidents. Despite raising this issue multiple times with the concerned department, no concrete action has been taken.
“We have brought this issue to the attention of the authorities, and while they have visited the spot, no steps have been taken to address the problem. Our repeated requests have been ignored,” alleged a resident.
The residents have now appealed to higher authorities, including the Chief Engineer of Kashmir, to intervene and resolve their legitimate demands at the earliest. They fear continued negligence could lead to severe consequences and have urged the administration to act swiftly to prevent any mishaps.
