Srinagar: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed grief over the demise of former legislator Faqeer Mohammad Khan.

In a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, Office of CM Omar Abdullah wrote, “Deeply saddened by the passing of former legislator Faqeer Mohd Khan. He was a true grassroots leader. My heartfelt condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace.”

The Chief Minister further mentioned that the House observed a two-minute silence in Khan’s honor. (JKNS)
