SRINAGAR: The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri extended his warm greetings on the auspicious religious occasions of Shab-e-Qadir and Jumat-ul-Vida to the people.
On the occasion, he prayed for communal harmony & brotherhood among different communities and prosperity in the region.
Meanwhile, he directed all Deputy Commissioners to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential services including electricity and water supply to facilitate the general public.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat has felicitated people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr, also known as Lylat-ul-Qadr, the holy night when people congregate to pray to Almighty Allah seeking his forgiveness.
The DC also greeted people on the occasion of Jummat Ul Vida the last Friday of the Ramadan ul Mubarak 1446 Hijri.
Dr. Bilal prayed for betterment of the people and expressed hope that the holy night would bring Allah’s blessings. He also prayed that the auspicious occasion would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood and be a harbinger of peace and prosperity.
