New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spoke with Tesla CEO Elon Musk and discussed various issues, including the immense potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation.

In a post on X, the PM said:

“Spoke to @elonmusk and talked about various issues, including the topics we covered during our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year.

“We discussed the immense potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation.

“India remains committed to advancing our partnerships with the US in these domains.”

The PM had met with Elon Musk and his children during his visit to Washington in February.

The multi-billionaire Musk is very close to US President Donald Trump and heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The talks also come as major telecom operators, Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, signed separate deals with Musk’s SpaceX last month to bring the Starlink internet service to the country.
