One Dead, One Injured in Kalaban, Mendhar Road Accident

Mendhar, May 16 (JKNS): A road accident in Kalaban area of Mendhar subdivision in Poonch district on Friday claimed the life of one person while another sustained serious injuries.

An official told news agrncy JKNS that a Tata Mobile met with an accident under unclear circumstances.

The driver, identified as Shah Mir Shah, son of Arif Hussain Shah, aged 30, resident of Noona Bandi, Poonch, was seriously injured and shifted to hospital for treatment.

Another person Yasir Khan, son of Munshi Khan, aged 25, resident of Pathanatir, Mendhar, died on the spot.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further details are awaited. (JKNS)
