Woman Dies After Tree Falls Amid Gusty Winds in Tral

Srinagar: A woman lost her life after a tree fell on her amid sudden gusty winds in the Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday evening.

Sources told news agency JKNS said that the deceased has been identified as Saleema, a resident of Tral.

The incident occurred when strong winds swept through the area, causing the tree to collapse, they said.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started.

It is important to note that parts of Jammu and Kashmir are witnessing gusty winds and heavy rains from the past few hours. (JKNS)
