Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has congratulated the University of Kashmir for securing the prestigious A++ grade in the recent NAAC re-accreditation cycle, terming it a true reflection of the varsity’s academic excellence and commitment to quality education.
In a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, Chief Minister said, “Delighted to know that the University of Kashmir has been accredited with NAAC A++ Grade. A true testament to its academic excellence and commitment to quality education. Heartiest congratulations to administration, faculty & students on this milestone!”
As reporter earlier, University of Kashmir became the first higher educational institution in J&K to be assessed under NAAC’s revised, more rigorous accreditation framework. It secured an Institutional CGPA of 3.68 the highest in its history placing it among the top universities in the country. (JKNS)
