Ganderbal: In a heartfelt gesture of communal harmony and national solidarity, the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) organized a hawan at the revered Kheer Bhawani temple in Tulmulla, Kashmir, to pay tribute to the victims of the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack.

The initiative was carried out under the directions of Dr. Indresh Kumar, Margdarshak of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch. The hawan was led by Saif Khan Baba, the MRM’s Kashmir Convenor.

Speaking during the ceremony, Saif Khan Baba stated, On the directions of our Margdarshak Dr. Indresh Bhaisaab, we organized this hawan to offer prayers for the souls of the Pahalgam martyrs and to honour their sacrifice. This is a message of unity and shared grief.”

The interfaith event saw enthusiastic participation from both Muslim and Hindu communities, reinforcing a strong message of peace, brotherhood, and social unity.

In addition to the religious ceremony, a langar (community meal) was organized by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch for devotees visiting the temple. The gesture was met with appreciation and gratitude from the attendees.

Locals widely praised the initiative, calling it a powerful symbol of interfaith harmony and national unity especially at a time when gestures of solidarity are most needed.
