Three Injured in Mysterious Blast During Mosque Demolition at Langate Handwara

Handwara, June 16 (JKNS): At least three persons sustained injuries after Mysterious blast during the demolition of an old mosque structure at Langate Handwara area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.

A senior police officer told the news agency JKNS that the Mysterious balst occurred while local residents were building a mosque as part of its reconstruction process. “Suddenly, a loud bang was heard, leaving three individuals injured on the spot,” the officer said.

The injured were immediately shifted to SDH Langate, where from one injured was shifted to GMC Handwara.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started. (JKNS)
