Daily Wager Employee Injured in Bear Attack While on Duty in Rahal, Kishtwar

Kishtwar: A daily-wager employee sustained injuries after being attacked by a wild bear while performing his duty in the Rahal area of Inderwal in Kishtwar district on Tuesday evening.

Reports reaching news agency JKNS said that Tariq Hussain, a Daily Rated Worker (DRW) and resident of Rahal, was engaged in his routine work when the wild animal suddenly attacked him, leaving him injured.

Local residents rushed to the spot and shifted the injured man to a nearby hospital for medical attention. His condition is said to be stable. (JKNS)
