Over 1 Lakh Pilgrims Perform Amarnath Yatra in First Six Days: LG Manoj Sinha

Srinagar,: The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday said that the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra is progressing smoothly and has crossed the one lakh mark within the first six days of its commencement.

In a post shared on X, the Office of J&K LG, as per news agency JKNS, wrote, “The journey of faith, holy Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra has surpassed 1 lakh pilgrims within the first six days of pilgrimage.”

The post further stated, “The spiritual festivity and Yatra is continuing smoothly on both the Pahalgam and Baltal routes and expected to draw more devotees in the days to come.”

The annual Amarnath Yatra officially began on July 3 amid elaborate security and logistical arrangements to ensure the safety and convenience of devotees. (JKNS)
