Mega National Exhibition ‘Bharat Sanrachna J&K’ to be Held at SKICC from July 10

Srinagar, July 9 (JKNS): Srinagar is set to host a grand national-level exhibition and public outreach initiative titled “Bharat Sanrachna Jammu & Kashmir 2025” from July 10 to 12 at SKICC.

The event is being organised by Tarmeh Events under the guidance of Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Er. Gulam Ali Khatana and will bring together top government departments, ministries, and scientific institutions from across India.

Speaming in the press conference at SKICC Srinagar, Kathana said, the event aims to showcase the flagship schemes, technological advancements, and national achievements during the Amritkaal era a 25-year roadmap towards India’s 100 years of independence.

The exhibition is envisioned as a unique platform to empower the youth, farmers, students, entrepreneurs, and the general public by directly connecting them with government services, innovations, and development opportunities, Kathana said.

Key focus sectors include science & technology, defence, space, healthcare, skill development, water management, agriculture, handicrafts, tourism, and digital innovation, he said.

Among the major participants are, DRDO (Ministry of Defence), ISRO (Ministry of Space), ICMR (Ministry of Health), Department of Science & Technology, Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of MSME, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), ICAR (Agriculture), Handloom and Handicraft stalls (Textiles Ministry), he said.

The three-day event will feature interactive exhibitions, hands-on demonstrations, workshops, expert talks, career guidance sessions, and a showcase of local success stories and artisan product, he added.

Kathana said that the initiative seeks to boost public trust, highlight central welfare programmes, and promote integration and inclusive development in Jammu & Kashmir. (JKNS)
