Ganderbal, July 19 (JKNS): A 42-year-old Amarnath Yatra pilgrim from Indore, died on Friday late night after falling unconscious in the Domail base camp in Ganderbal district.

An official told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Mukesh Chuhan, a resident of Indore.

He suddenly lost consciousness inside a Washroom and was immediately shifted to the Base Hospital Baltal for medical attention. Doctors at the facility, however, declared him brought dead, he said.

Cognizance has been taken and Necessary medico-legal formalities have been initiated by authorities. (JKNS)
