BJP’s Er. Aijaz Hussain Donates Two Months’ Salary to Rajbagh Fire Victims

Srinagar, 21 July 2025: Senior BJP leader and DDC Member Srinagar, Er. Aijaz Hussain, today visited Rajbagh, where a devastating fire tragedy left six families homeless and in deep distress.

Accompanied by local representatives, Er. Aijaz Hussain personally met each of the affected families, offering words of comfort and solidarity. While consoling the victims, he said:

“I share equal grief with each family. Your loss is not yours alone—it is ours as a community. I want you to know that you are not alone in this tragedy. We are fully committed to providing every possible support to help you rebuild your homes and your lives.”

During the visit, he also spoke with Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Shri Akshay Labroo, and ADC Shri Adil Fareed, urging them to prioritize damage assessment and provide immediate relief assistance. The Deputy Commissioner assured that the administration would take swift action to extend all necessary help to the affected households.

As an immediate gesture of personal support, Er. Aijaz Hussain announced that he will donate his two months’ salary to the victims of the Rajbagh fire incident, reaffirming his commitment to stand by the people during their most challenging times.

He further assured the families that he would continue to closely monitor the situation and coordinate with the administration to ensure adequate compensation, rehabilitation measures, and long-term assistance.

The visit was marked by an outpouring of empathy and assurance, with the affected families expressing heartfelt gratitude for his timely intervention and compassionate response.
