Srinagar: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) State President Vivek Bali, along with senior party leaders, visited Bari Pora, Nawakadal in Srinagar area on Tuesday to meet families affected by a recent devastating fire incident that gutted three residential houses. The blaze has left several families homeless and in deep distress.

Leading the delegation, Vivek Bali was accompanied by SBSP District President Srinagar, Omair Malik, and Youth District President Srinagar, Bilal Ahmed Budoo. The team visited the site of the tragedy, interacted with the victims, and expressed heartfelt sympathies and solidarity with the affected families.

Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Bali assured the families that the SBSP would take up their case with higher authorities to ensure they receive timely rehabilitation and compensation. He urged the administration to act without delay.

“I strongly urge the administration to provide immediate financial assistance and compensation to the affected families. These families have lost everything — their homes, belongings, and their sense of safety. Swift government action is essential to help them rebuild their lives,” Bali stated.

He further emphasized the need for a strong disaster response system in fire-prone areas of Srinagar and called for better infrastructure and preventive measures to reduce the risk of such incidents.

The SBSP leadership reiterated the party’s unwavering commitment to standing with the people in times of crisis and pledged to continue raising their concerns at appropriate platforms to ensure justice and timely aid.
