Srinagar, July 24 (JKNS): The University of Kashmir has postponed the scheduled Urdu subject interviews and rescheduled its upcoming entrance examinations, the university announced on Thursday.
According to a notification issued by the Directorate of Admissions & Competitive Examinations a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS stated that, the Kashmir University Entrance Tests (KUET) earlier slated for July 27, 2025 (Sunday) will now be conducted on July 29, 2025 (Tuesday). The rescheduled tests include programmes for MCA, M.A. Kashmiri, MBA/MBA-CME, MBA Craft Management & Entrepreneurship, and M.Sc. Food Technology.
The notification further detailed changes in the examination centres. For MCA aspirants with roll numbers 590101 to 590200, the venue has been shifted from the Department of History to the Department of Political Science at the University of Kashmir.
Similarly, candidates scheduled at the Department of Computer Science will now appear at the Departments of Zoology and Botany. Updated timings have been set for three sessions: 10:00 AM (MCA), 12:00 Noon (M.A. Kashmiri & MBA programmes), and 2:30 PM (M.Sc. Food Technology), it stated.
In another seperate notification, Urdu interviews, previously rescheduled vide Notice No. KU/Rect/Interview/25 dated July 15, 2025, have been postponed until further orders, with fresh dates to be notified separately. (JKNS)
