Srinagar, July 25 (JKNS): A head constable was injured on Friday after his service rifle went off accidentally while he was cleaning it at Pantha Chowk in Srinagar.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the head constable, who was posted at the residence of a former MLA, sustained injuries to his leg due to the accidental discharge.
The injured policeman was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment. While cognizance of the incident has been taken. (JKNS)
