Doda, July 26 (JKNS): A fatal road accident occurred in the Riela area of Bhalessa Doda on Saturday, leaving one person dead.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Ramesh Kumar, son of Desh Raj. He was declared dead on the spot, while the driver of the vehicle is reportedly absconding.
The vehicle was travelling from Gandoh towards Riela when the accident took place.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to SDH Gandoh for medico-legal formalities. SHO Gandoh is present at the scene.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
