Body Found Near Fisheries Farm in Shopian, Probe Launched

Two men, crime scene investigation, police and FBI doing their jobs, there is a dead body in the forest.

Shopian, July 31 (JKNS): An unidentified body was recovered on Thursday near the Fisheries Farm in Alyapora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district, officials said.

An official told news agency JKNS that the body was spotted by locals, who immediately informed the police. A team rushed to the spot and took the body into custody.

The identity of the deceased and other details are being ascertained, he said.

Cognizance of the matter has been taken and further investigation has been initiated. (JKNS)
