Srinagar, 03 Aug 2025 :  The Annual Training Camp of 3 J & K Battalion, NCC has commenced with great enthusiasm at Zorawar Training Academy, Udhampur, bringing together 285 cadets from North Kashmir for a comprehensive and structured training program. The camp, scheduled to culminate on 11 August 2025, aims to foster a spirit of service, discipline, and leadership among the participating cadets.
The training camp is designed to impart multifaceted skills in the areas of Social Service, Community Development, Disaster Response, and Tactical Military Training. Through these rigorous sessions, cadets will imbibe the core values of military discipline and ethos, which will not only enhance their personal growth but also prepare them to be responsible and resilient citizens.
Under the able leadership of 5 Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) and 10 Permanent Instructors (PI Staff), the camp promises a structured and enriching experience. The cadets will also manage daily camp routines and administrative responsibilities under supervision, promoting leadership, teamwork, and stress management.
A unique feature of this year’s camp is the interactive sessions with eminent professionals, who will mentor and inspire the cadets by sharing knowledge in life skills, martial arts, sportsmanship, adolescent health, and other important domains. These interactions are tailored to equip the cadets with essential tools for navigating the challenges of modern life.
The camp reflects the NCC’s commitment to holistic youth development by combining physical training with intellectual enrichment and civic responsibility. It stands as a testament to the spirit of unity, service, and self-discipline that the National Cadet Corps instils in the youth of India.
