Bandipora, Aug 5 (JKNS): Authorities in Bandipora have prohibited any form of videography or photography within all hospitals of the district without prior written permission from the concerned hospital authorities.
In a circular issued by the Chief Medical Officer Bandipora, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, the directive applies to individuals, patients, attendants, employees, and visitors.
The order, issued with the approval of the District Magistrate Bandipora, aims to ensure patient privacy, safety, dignity, and maintain the sanctity of hospital operations.
The circular warns that unauthorized videography or photography violates legal provisions and may invite penal action under Article 21 of the Constitution of India, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010.
“All stakeholders are directed to ensure strict compliance, failing which appropriate legal action shall be initiated in accordance with the law,” the order reads. (JKNS)
