Srinagar, Aug 5 (JKNS): In a significant administrative overhaul, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday ordered a reshuffle of 14 IAS and JKAS officers in Jammu and Kashmir, with immediate effect.
As per an order accessed by news agency JKNS, Anshul Garg (IAS), serving as CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, has been appointed as Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.
Other Key Appointments
Mr. Naveen S. L. (IAS), Secretary Transport Department, has been posted as Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, with additional charge of Commissioner, Civil Aviation, relieving Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary of the charge. Ms. Avny Lavasa (IAS), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Secretary, Transport Department.
Mr. Vikas Kundal (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Poonch, has been appointed as Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board. Mr. Gurpal Singh (IAS), Director Social Welfare Jammu, will now serve as Managing Director, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited.
Sachin Kumar Vaishya (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Jammu, has been posted as CEO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, while Mr. Anil Banka (IAS) has been transferred as Special Secretary, Finance Department.
Shrikant Balasaheb Suse (IAS), MD JPDCL, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Kupwara. Dr. Rakesh Minhas (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Kathua, will now serve as Deputy Commissioner Jammu.
Ms. Ayushi Sudan (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Samba, while Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Qadri (JKAS), Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, has been transferred and will await further posting in GAD.
Ms. Indu Kanwal (JKAS), Chairperson J&K SSB, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Bandipora. Mr. Ashok Kumar Sharma (JKAS) has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner Poonch, while Mr. Rajesh Sharma (JKAS), Deputy Commissioner Samba, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Kathua.
The reshuffle is aimed at streamlining administration and ensuring effective governance across Jammu and Kashmir. (JKNS)
